POCONO BASKET BRIGADE AT A GLANCE
Pocono Basket Brigade knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Our family has realized that by working together we could help others more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Pocono Basket Brigade.
WHAT WE DO
The International Basket Brigade is about the joy of giving. The people best to target are those who may not take advantage of the food distribution programs available to them in their area due to pride or lack of access.
VOLUNTEER
At Pocono Basket Brigade, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in helping families in need, especially during the holidays. We are looking for volunteers to help with deliveries, sponsors, donations, public relations, social media, and more. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.
NOMINATE A RECIPIENT
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies to reach more families in need. Our ideal nominees are those who may not take advantage of the food distribution programs available to them in our area due to pride or lack of access. Families that don't like to ask for help because they feel embarrassed or ashamed.
CONTRIBUTE
With this initiative, our goal is to provide healthy meals for those in need. Although our basket brigade is starting in time for the holiday season we want to continue providing to those in need year-round. We are looking for local farms and stores to assist us by providing content for our baskets. We are also giving you the opportunity to contribute with a monetary donation if that's how you can help us fulfill this mission.
